Tulsi Manas Mandir

White Marble Temple Where Ramcharitmanas was Penned

Tulsi Manas Mandir in Varanasi

Erected in 1964 in pristine white Makrana marble, Tulsi Manas Mandir stands at the historically sacred site where the medieval saint-poet Goswami Tulsidas lived and composed the immortal Hindu epic Shri Ramcharitmanas. The entire text of the epic's Chaupais and Dohas is intricately engraved along the polished marble walls, while the second floor features animated mechanical puppet dioramas of the Ramayana.
